Boudoir Experience
What happens the day of your session?
Whether you've had a session with us in the past or you're a brand new client our couples boudoir experiences are forever changing and improving. So it's only fair you get to have atleast a rough idea of how your session is going to go down. Please keep in mind your experience may vary slightly and this is a guide on how our couples boudoir experiences are carried out.
When you both arrive
From the moment you arrive, your experience begins. Ladies, we’ll start with professional hair and makeup styling (included for all ladies) so you can relax, settle in, and ease into the shoot. Our artists bring everything needed from shade-matched foundation and lashes to styling tools and finishing touches. So all she needs to do is arrive with clean, dry hair (no products) and a fresh face. Styling typically takes around 60 minutes per person (please allow additional time if both partners require styling).
Male partners are asked to arrive fully ready for the session, with hair styled and outfits prepared. During the styling portion, you’re welcome to relax in the studio and enjoy the atmosphere, or step out for a short coffee or walk and return around the 40-minute mark, ready to begin the session together.
What's next?
Once you’re both feeling confident and camera-ready, we’ll spend about 15 minutes planning your outfits together. We’ll hang up everything you’ve brought so we can see the full selection and narrow it down to your top 3–4 looks that best suit the style and mood you want for your session.
Female clients are also welcome to explore our client wardrobe, which includes a wide range of pieces such as bra and panty sets, corsets, bodysuits, strappy designs, robes, body chains, harness pieces, and more. You’ll have full access to the entire client closet to mix, match, and create looks that feel perfectly you.
For male partners, clothing is not provided; however, we do have a small selection of studio accessories, such as classic black ties and black suspenders, available to complement your outfits if desired. Once outfits are selected, we’ll move into the guided photoshoot, helping you both feel relaxed, natural, and connected every step of the way.
When do we get to the photo taking part?
Once we’ve selected your favourite 3–4 outfits, it’s time to begin the photographing portion of your experience! The shoot itself usually runs for around 90 minutes, and trust me, it flies by!
It’s completely normal for one or both of you to feel a little nervous at this stage. You’re stepping outside your comfort zone, and that’s part of the magic. Those nerves usually disappear within the first few minutes as we start creating natural, connection-focused moments together, and before long, you’ll find yourselves laughing, relaxing, and truly enjoying the experience.
You don’t need to worry about knowing how to pose. I will guide you step by step, showing you exactly how to stand, where to place your hands, how to connect naturally with each other, and how to create those soft, intimate moments that look incredible on camera. My direction is gentle, easy to follow, and always focused on making you both feel comfortable and confident.
As we near the end of your session, I’ll check in to make sure we haven’t missed anything you were hoping to capture or any ideas you’d love to try. Once we finish photographing, you’ll have time to change, gather your outfits, and double-check the change room before we move on to the next stage of your experience.
Image Reveal Session
Once your photoshoot is complete and you’re both dressed and packed up, we’ll sit down together for your In-Person Image Reveal Session. During this time, you’ll view the images from your session and select your favourites together. (You may see the occasional fun blooper along the way, those are simply for a laugh and won’t be included unless you specifically request them.)
Please note that only your selected images will be professionally edited, so take your time during the reveal to choose the photographs you truly love and connect with. Once your final selections are made, all purchases are considered final.
If you decide you’d like to upgrade your collection, this is the perfect time to do so, so we recommend having your preferred payment method ready. If you need a little flexibility, a short post-session payment plan can be arranged, with a minimum 20% deposit required on the day to begin.
While the session itself may be finished, the excitement is only just beginning! I’ll carefully edit your chosen images and prepare any products you’ve selected, whether that’s a luxury album, prints, wall art, or keepsakes, and I’ll be in touch as soon as everything is ready for collection or delivery.
