Men’s Boudoir Experiences
What happens the day of your session?
Whether you've had a session with us in the past or you're a brand new client our boudoir experiences are forever changing and improving. So it's only fair you get to have atleast a rough idea of how your session is going to go down. Please keep in mind your experience may vary slightly and this is a guide on how our regular boudoir experiences are carried out.
When you arrive
From the moment you arrive, your experience begins. As hair and makeup is not included for male sessions, we simply ask that you arrive fully camera-ready, with your hair styled and grooming completed before arrival.
Once you arrive, we’ll take a few minutes to help you settle in, chat about the session ahead, and go over the outfits you’ve brought so we can begin planning your looks for the shoot. This relaxed start helps shake off any nerves and allows you to ease comfortably into the experience before stepping in front of the camera.
What's next?
We’ll spend around 10–15 minutes planning your outfits, hanging everything up so we can see your full selection and narrow it down to your top 2–3 looks that best match the style and mood you want to create.
While male clothing is not provided in the client wardrobe, the studio does have a small selection of accessories, such as classic black ties and suspenders, that you’re welcome to use to complement your outfits if desired. Once your looks are selected, we’ll move straight into the photographing portion of your experience.
When do we get to the photo taking part?
Once your outfits are chosen, we begin the photo session, which typically runs for around 60 minutes and passes surprisingly quickly.
Feeling a little nervous is completely normal, most clients do at first, but you won’t need to worry about posing or knowing what to do. I will guide you step by step through every pose, from body positioning to expression, making sure you feel comfortable, confident, and natural in front of the camera.
As we approach the end of the session, I’ll check in to see if there’s anything specific you wanted to try or if there are any additional ideas you’d like to capture.
Once we finish photographing, you’ll have time to change, pack your outfits, and prepare for the next stage of your experience.
Image Reveal Session
After your session, we’ll sit down together for your In-Person Image Reveal Session, where you’ll view the photographs from your shoot and select your favourites. Only the images you choose will be professionally edited, so take your time selecting the ones that best reflect how you want to remember this experience.
If you’d like to upgrade your collection, this is the perfect time to do so, and we recommend having your preferred payment method ready. A short post-session payment plan is available if needed, with a minimum 20% deposit required on the day to begin.
Once your selections are finalised, I’ll begin carefully editing your chosen images and preparing any products you’ve ordered. I’ll then be in touch as soon as everything is ready for collection or delivery, which is the final step in bringing your experience to life.
